DC police searching for teens robbing at knifepoint

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - Police are searching for at least two teenagers who were robbing people at knifepoint in Southeast, D.C. late Monday night. 

The first robbery happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Savannah St., Metropolitan police said. Police are searching for two black males between the ages of about 15 and 17.

One was wearing a burgundy hoodie and the other male was seen wearing a black jacket. The males were armed with knives. No injuries were reported in this incident. 

Another citizen was robbed around 10:07 p.m. in the 200 block of Savannah St. in Southeast, D.C. Police said two suspects,armed with knives were involved in the robbery. 

They were described as two black males between the ages of 13 and 16. One suspect was wearing a hoodie and the second suspect was seen wearing blue jeans and a black shirt.
