DC man arrested in SE homicide

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Police arrested a man Friday in connection with a homicide that happened in the 300 block of Ridge Road, Southeast, D.C. March 1.

Metropolitan Police said around 12:20 a.m. deputies responded to a call for the report of an unconscious person. Police found a man suffering from apparent trauma to the head.

Andre McIntrye, 46 of NW, D.C. was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma of the head and neck. The manner was ruled homicide, police said.

Police arrested 26-year-old Antonio Williams around 6:45 p.m. Friday in connection with the homicide. Williams is being charged with second degree murder.
