Arrest in shooting death of transgender woman

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - A 22-year-old was arrested in the murder of a transgender woman in D.C., Metropolitan Police announced Thursday.

Shareem Hall, of District Heights, Maryland, was charged in the July 4 shooting death of Deeniqua Dodds, police said.

Authorities believed robbery was the reason behind the attack that occurred on Division Street in Northeast.
