WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- According to a spokesperson with the Metropolitan Police Department, 83-year-old Jesse Jones is still missing.
The former D.C. jail warden was last seen on 5th Street, N.W. on March 11 at Busboys & Poets. A Silver Alert was issued for Jesse Jones last Wednesday.
Officials describe Jones as a black male, 5'7" tall, approximately 160-165 pounds with a medium build, white and gray hair, and brown eyes. Jones was last seen wearing a navy blue jacket and blue pants.
Officials with the assisted living facility where Jones lived, The Residences at Thomas Circle, say that Jones suffers from dementia and high blood pressure.
His family released a statement on Sunday, asking for the public's help locating Jones. With the impending snowstorm, family members were very concerned about his well-being.
A $5,000 reward is available to anyone who shares information that leads to locating Jones.
