5 things you need to know Wednesday

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Here are five things you need to know on Wednesday, March 26:

5. Strong winds will develop for Wednesday. Winds could gust over 40 mph in time for the morning commute. There will be some slick spots, black ice, also early Wednesday. By afternoon, the winds will be gusting in the 25-30 mph range.

4. The multinational hunt for Flight MH370 resumed Wednesday across a remote stretch of the Indian Ocean. The Malaysian transport minister said that new satellite images have identified 122 new potential plane-related objects in the water.

3. Charles Severance is being held in the Ohio County, W.Va. jail on a weapons violation charge in Loudoun County. Ohio County Prosecutor Scott Smith called Severance a "person of interest" in three Alexandria murder cases. Severance has not been charged in those cases. To charge him, Alexandria police need some solid evidence. Police have yet to find a weapon in the Alexandria murder.

2. Police released surveillance video from a Holiday Inn Express located at 1917 Bladensburg Road N.E. In the video, you can see Tatum and Relisha Rudd walking in the hallway. Police and the FBI say no tip is too small as they hunt for the girl and they hope the now $50,000 reward will help them find her.

1.
