WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Here are five things you need to know on Thursday, March 20:

5. Thursday is the first day of Spring! Spring arrives Thursday at 12:57 p.m. and it will feel more like it with sunshine and milder conditions. We are tracking another cold front over the weekend and the possibility of snow showers by Tuesday.

4. D.C. police are looking for help in locating a missing girl last seen in southeast D.C. Officials say 8-year-old Relisha Tenau Rudd was last seen in the 1900 block of Massachusetts Avenue, SE.

3. The opening of the new Silver Line has been indefinitely delayed because of serious problems with the train communication system and other issues. The communications system that allows trains on the new line to communicate with the Metro Control Center does not work correctly.
