2 NW DC 7-Eleven stores robbed 10 minutes apart

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - Two 7-Eleven stores, only a half of a mile away from each other, were robbed only ten minutes apart early Wednesday morning, Metropolitan police said.  

The first robbery happened around 4:37 a.m. in the 1100 block of U Street in Northwest, D.C. There is a lookout for a black male, about 5'5" tall, with a dark complexion and a blue shirt, black jeans, and a scarf on his head. 

The second robbery happened around 4:46 a.m. at the 7-Eleven located in the 2300 block of 14th Street in Northwest, D.C. There is a lookout for a black male, standing 5'5" tall, with a dark complexion, blue shirt, black jeans, with a scarf on his head and a handgun.  

No injuries were reported in the incident.
