2 men injured in separate DC shootings

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - Two men are suffering from non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in two separate shootings in the District late Sunday night. 

Around 10 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the 300 block of 53rd Street in Northeast. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. 

Around 11:20 p.m., police responded to a second shooting in the 1300 block of Columbia Road in Northwest. When police arrived, they found a man suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. 

Both victims have been transported to the hospital. No lookout information is available at this time.
