2 arrested in NE robbery fear incident

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The Metropolitan Police Department arrested two people in connection with a robbery fear incident that happened in the 300 block of 63rd Street, NE early Wednesday morning.

Police said the incident happened around 2:07 a.m. when four suspects went up to a transgender woman. According to authorities, one of the suspects claimed he had a weapon and then proceeded to rob the woman. The suspects then fled on foot, police said.

Authorities said, two juveniles were arrested in and are being charged with robbery fear.
