WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - The 1-year-old boy who was shot in Northeast, D.C. on Monday night has been released from the hospital, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
The shooting happened in the 1300 block of I Street NE around 9 p.m. Police say the child was conscious and breathing.
Police are on the lookout for two men. One suspect is described as a back male in his 20-30s, about 6 feet tall with long dreads. The other suspect is described by police as a black male, 6'0" to 6'4" wearing a baseball cap.
No further information has been released at this time.
