1 dead after violent night in DC

One person is dead after two shootings and two stabbings were reported overnight in the District, Metropolitan police said. 

The violence happened in just over an hour. 

According to authorities the first shooting happened around 12:20 a.m. in the 1500 block of F Street in Northeast, D.C. Three men were shot and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One of the victims was hit in the arm, the other in the back and the third in the hip. 

Officers responded to a stabbing around 1:20 a.m. in the 1200 block of U Street in NW, D.C. A woman was stabbed and transported to the hospital. She is expected to survive, police said. Authorities are looking for three suspects in connection with this incident. The suspects were last seen driving in a black SUV with MD tags. 

A fatal stabbing was reported around 1:28 a.m. in the 800 block of Chesapeake Street in SE, D.C. Police said a man was stabbed in the chest inside a home. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. There is currently no lookout information. 

Police responded to a shooting around 1:36 a.m. in the 5200 block of Clay St. in NE, D.C. When they got to the scene they found a man with a gunshot wound to his shoulder. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There is a lookout for four males, one armed with a gun.
