WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - The DC Public School system has launched a second investigation into Roosevelt High School’s athletic program, based on information WUSA9 brought to its attention.
Last spring, a track coach allegedly shared a hotel room and a bed with his teenage athletes at an out of town race. According to sources, despite a parent’s complaints to the school, the coach was never investigated or disciplined.
This latest incident surfaces just days after the Metropolitan Police Department confirmed it was looking into a sex abuse case, involving Roosevelt football players allegedly assaulting a 15-year-old teammate in the locker room.
That attack was reported to police last month.
