CSPD: Man sexually assaults woman twice

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- A College Station man has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman.

Jake Marker, 32, was arrested Monday after being interviewed by the police.

Authorities say the victim first reported she was sexually assaulted inside her apartment on August 30. The victim, who didn't know the suspect, described Marker as a tall muscular man, wearing dark clothing and a ski mask. The victim said she was sexually attacked, screamed and fled the scene. 

During the the second incident, reported on September 10, the victim was able give a name to the suspect as "Jake"  who lives near her, according to the probable cause statement. The victim initially allowed Marker into her home to use her microwave to warm-up a chicken pot-pie. As the victim walked into the living room, Marker attacked her.

During the investigation interview, authorities say Marker started having conversations with people who were not there and showed signs of psychotic behavior. He was temporality transported to Rock Prairie Behavioral Health. 

Bond set at $100,000.
