Winning Md. Mega Millions ticket sold in Charles County

BALTIMORE (WUSA9) -- A winning Mega Millions ticket was bought in Charles County, a Maryland lottery official announced on Wednesday morning.

The winning numbers were: 11-19-24-33-51 The Mega Ball was 7. The winning ticket was sold at Lady's Liquor in La Plata, Maryland.

Before the announcement, officials said that it appeared there were two winning tickets sold for Tuesday night's million Mega Millions drawing and one of them was purchased in Maryland. The $414 million jackpot has a cash option of $230.9 million, say lottery officials.

The other winning ticket, we have learned, was sold in Florida. Florida lottery officials say that ticket was sold at a Sunoco in Merritt Island.

A $1 million winning ticket was also sold in Crownsville, Md. The ticket was sold at Waterbury Liquors located at 1021 Generals Highway. The winner matched the first five winning numbers, but missed the Mega Ball.

The jackpot is the sixth-largest lottery prize in national history.
