Reward offered for information in Waldorf shooting

WALDORF, Md. (WUSA9) -- A cash reward is available for information leading to the arrest of a man who shot another man on April 10 in the area of Trefoil Place in Waldorf.

According to authorities, a man was driving on Tawny Drive near Thistle Place at 11:30 p.m. when he saw a large SUV blocking the roadway and several people standing around it. He drove around the SUV and continued to Trefoil Place, say authorities.

Once he parked his car, however, the SUV pulled up and several males exited the vehicle. They started arguing with him and one suspect pulled a gun. He fired at the victim, hitting him in the leg, say authorities.

The victim was transported to a hospital where he was treated for a gunshot wound.
