Police: Suspect stole packages off of porches in Md.

HUGHESVILLE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Charles County Sheriff's Office officials are looking for a suspect who they say stole UPS packages from the front porches of two homes.

Police say an unknown male stole packages from the front porches of two home in the Lake Jameson neighborhood of Hughesville on March 24.

We're told the packages were taken from homes on Dusty Miller Court and Pale Morning Court about 15 minutes after the packages had been dropped off in the early afternoon.

The suspect, described as a black male with a dark complexion, possibly in his 20s, with short dreadlocks and wearing a black skull cap and black prescription style glasses. His car appears to be an older model White Nissan Altima.

Charles County Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the identity and arrest of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. C. Gregory at (301) 609-6507 or Charles County Crime Solvers.
