Fugitive arrested 2 days after photo posted online

CHARLES COUNTY, Md. (WUSA9) -- A man featured as part of "Fugitive Friday" in Charles County was arrested two days after his photo was posted online.

According to sheriff's office authorities, a call to the Charles County Crime Solvers tip line led to the arrest of 27-year-old Jonathan Edward Hughes. He was featured last Friday as the Charles County Crime Solvers fugitive of the week series online. Hughes was wanted for outstanding warrants charging him with first-degree burglary, fourth-degree burglary, and theft.

Authorities say Hughes was arrested on Sunday in the area of Newburg.

The tipster is now eligible for a cash reward through Crime Solvers and the amount will be determined by the Crime Solvers Board of Directors, according to authorities. Charles County Crime Solvers offers rewards of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest or indictment in an unsolved crime in Charles County.
