Bell once worked at Benjamin Stoddert Middle School. Roughly 30 people chose to show up to that same location, Thursday, to pray.

Organizer Deron Tross said he felt it was important to bring the community together.

"We're going to beat this," he said. "We're going to win."

One mother told WUSA9 she also felt it was important to pray because one of her sons just graduated from Stoddert. She said her heart goes out to the families that have been effected.

"He earned their trust and he took advantage of them," she said.

A group named, "Women of Action Charles County" has also scheduled a town hall meeting to give locals the chance to discuss the case regarding Carlos Bell. It will take place at 7pm, July 18, at First Baptist Church of St. Charles.
