Man found in Centreville pond identified

CENTREVILLE, VA. (WUSA9) - A man found dead in a Centreville pond late Monday night has been identified as Pedro Ramirez Matom, Fairfax County police said. He was 28 years old.

Officers found Matom's fully clothed body in the 5800 block of Trinity Parkway.

Detectives said there were no obvious signs of trauma.

Authorities said the body was taken for an autopsy to determine cause and manner of death.
