Bring Them Home: WUSA9's Missing Children Campaign

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) – When an AMBER Alert was dispatched for the 8-year-old,

Relisha Rudd, in late March, the news media in Washington, DC, covered it as the lead story.

No matter what channel your television was on, during the news, you heard about how this beautiful little girl was abducted and was in grave danger.

That's when we decided to join the search, not only for Relisha, but for as many missing local children as we possibly can. We're calling it our "Bring Them Home" campaign. We are inviting you to join the effort to "Bring Them Home" as well.

We're getting most of our information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children website.

Many of the children on the national website are runaways and they usually make it back home within the week. However, some of those children have been missing for years, sometimes with no hope of ever returning.

All you have to do is keep clicking this page and sharing the links on each page via the Facebook, Twitter and Email buttons.

We've also created a gallery on our Facebook page to make it easier for you to share this information with your loved ones and the ones closest to you.

Please join us to help "Bring Them Home."
