Man's body recovered from McMillan Reservoir

The adult male body was found Saturday in the McMillan Reservoir.

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - A body has been recovered from McMillan Reservoir in Northwest, D.C., on Saturday, fire and EMS officials said. 

The call came in around 7:30 p.m. for a possible person in the water in the 2500 block of First Street. 

D.C. Fire Special Ops launched a boat on the scene where they found an adult black male's body. 

The body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy. 

Metropolitan Police Department are still investigating.
