CLARKSBURG, MD (WUSA9) - Montgomery County arson investigators are trying to figure out who might want a young couple and baby dead after a fire early Monday that targeted the family’s townhome.
The couple and their child were not home when the fire was reported at about 5:30 AM on Labor Day. The attacker or attackers left threatening graffiti on the family’s driveway.

Another young family in a neighboring townhome were forced to evacuate their home as well.
The fire happened in the 22600 block of Majestic Elm Court in Clarksburg, Md.
At least $75,000 in damage was done to the two units.
“They are really good people, I don’t know why anyone would be after them,” said Linda Guzman who lives nearby.
