WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Two arrests have been made in connection with several BB gun offenses that happened in D.C., Metropolitan police said.
The first incident happened in the 3000 block of Veazey Terrace, in Northwest, D.C. on August 30 around 9:42 p.m. Police said three victims were walking when they were all hit by pellets from a BB gun. The victims had minor injuries. One of the victims is a special police officer.
Police said another incident happened in the 3000 block of Van Ness Street in Northwest, D.C. on August 31 around 12:08 p.m. Authorities said the victim was walking when he was hit by a pellet from a BB gun. He also had minor injuries. The investigation showed that the pellets were fired from a home located in the 3000 block of Van Ness Street, in Northwest, D.C.
Hudson Edmund Taylor, 19, and Daniel Eduardo Hernandez, 22, of Northwest, D.C. were both arrested and have been charged with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, assault on a police officer and possession of a BB gun.
