ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA9) -- A healthy baby girl was born Thursday morning in a vehicle on eastbound I-66 before the Washington Boulevard exit, according to Capt. Bill Shelton with the Arlington County Fire Marshal's Office.
Shelton says the call came at 4:30 a.m. The baby was born before medics arrived. The mother's significant other was present, says Shelton.
Arlington medics assisted in post-delivery and the mother and baby were transported to a hospital.
