2 pedestrians struck by car in Arlington

ARLINGTON, VA. (WUSA9) - Two people have been transported to the hospital after police said they were hit by a car Tuesday afternoon in Arlington.

The crash happened in the 3100 block of Clarendon Boulevard.

Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the driver remained on the scene.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.

Police continue to investigate.
