Woman pushing infant in stroller hit after crash

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police say a 34-year-old woman was pushing an infant in a stroller on the sidewalk when she was hit after a crash.

On June 24, a black truck and a blue sedan collided at the intersection of Glebe Road and Commonwealth Avenue and hit the woman, according to police.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for serious injuries.The infant appeared uninjured, but was transported for observation.

Three passengers from the sedan were transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
