Alexandria murders person of interest hearing set for June

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (WUSA9) -- Charles Severance, called a person of interest in three unsolved Alexandria murders, was arraigned in Loudoun County General District Court on Tuesday morning on a firearms charge.

Severance was arrested in Wheeling, West Virginia on March 13 and charged as a "Fugitive From Justice" pursuant to the Uniform Criminal Extradition Act, according to court documents. He was extradited from West Virginia on Monday.

According to WUSA9's Peggy Fox, Severance was appointed an attorney on Tuesday and his preliminary hearing is set for June 18.
