4 siblings arrested for crime spree

SILVER SPRING, Md. (WUSA9) -- Officials have arrested four people in connection a robbery at an Exxon gas station in Maryland.

The robbery happened on May 14 around 3:00 a.m. at the Exxon located on 8384 Colesville Road. The clerk was robbed at gunpoint by the suspects, police said.

The same suspects are also responsible for a bank robbery in DC the next day around 10:40 a.m. at Colombo bank located on the 1300 block of 9th Street, N.W. The suspects went into the bank, showed a note announcing the robbery and fled with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

Officials arrested Alvin Alexander, 24 Alex Alexander, 20 Allante Alexander, 20 and Allesha Alexander, 25 in connection to these incidents. Allante Alexander and Allesha Alexander were arrested on May 21. Alex Alexander and Alvin Alexander were arrested on May 22. All four suspects have been charged with robbery, police said.

After a search warrant was executed, the items used in the Exxon robbery were recovered, police said.
