4 charged with robbery at Md. pharmacy

BROOKLYN, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police have arrested and charged four suspects in connection to a robbery at a pharmacy in Maryland.

It happened on Monday around 12:08 p.m., at the Medicine Shoppe located at 5507 Ritchie Highway. When Police arrived, they saw two suspects running from the front entrance to the store. They then attempted to go into a car which was waiting for them nearby, police said.

Hikeem Rashad Johnson, 24, Nakia Monique Vass, 31, Keisha Towan Kosh, 39, and Ashley Diona Dunston, 31 were arrested and charged with 'robbery and related offenses', police said.

Police found many stolen prescription medications including Oxycontin and also a weapon which was used during the robbery.

The weapon was later found to be a black pellet gun with a realistic appearance, police said.
