WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - A man died after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in Southeast, D.C. Tuesday afternoon, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Joe Cook of D.C.
The shooting happened in the 2500 block of Elvans Road around 1:54 p.m. Police say Cook was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
