1 woman, 2 men shot in separate DC shootings

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- A woman has life-threatening injuries and two other men were injured after three separate shootings late Tuesday night in the District, according to Metropolitan police.

The first shooting happened around 9:11 p.m. in the 1900 block of M Street in NE, D.C., police said. A man was found suffering from a gunshot wound at the scene. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds. 

Police said the second shooting happened around 11:19 p.m. in the 3600 block of Jay St. in NE, D.C. When they got to the scene they found a man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital and was conscious. 

The most recent shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 5300 block of E St. in SE, D.C., according to authorities. When they got to the scene they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police are searching for a gray or silver four-door car.
