2 women arrested for Black Friday assault

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WUSA9) -- Anne Arundel County police have arrested two sisters in connection with a fight at the Annapolis Mall on Black Friday.

Antonia Janee Ash, 18, and Ebonie Ta Shawn Brooks, 31, both of Clinton, Md., were arrested Thursday for the November assault at the Victoria's Secret store at the Annapolis Mall.

On November 29, a juvenile female victim told police that she was assaulted at the store shortly after midnight, officials said. Cell phone video of the fight has over 130,000 views on YouTube.

Police say they were able to arrest the women after viewing cell phone video and video from the mall. Police tracked the two women to a store where they had been prior to the assault and subpoenaed store records to identify the women.

The sisters have been charged with 1st Degree Assault, 2nd Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Disorderly Conduct, Disturbing the Peace, & Affray.

"I appreciate the tenacity of the detectives investigating this crime," said Chief of Police Kevin Davis. "No one should expect or accept this type of behavior at a shopping mall any time of year, especially during the holiday season."
