2 suspects sought for armed robbery in Md.

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police are looking for two suspects in connection to an armed robbery in Maryland.

It happened on May 30 around 12:32 p.m. at the 'La Quinta Inn' which is located at 6323 Ritchie Highway. The victim said the first suspect was armed with a silver handgun, approached the victim and demanded money. He then stole the victim's cell phone, money and left in a metallic green Ford Expedition which was being driven by the second suspect, police said.

They left north on Ritchie Highway, police said.

The victim followed their car as it turned right onto Church Street and entered Baltimore City. The victim reports seeing the first suspect who robbed the victim, get out of the car at Pennington/Spruce Avenue. The second suspect left in the car which was recovered by Police later on, officials said.

Officials describe the first suspect as a 'Black Male, 5'8" in height. He has a heavy build and was wearing a black t-shirt, plaid shorts. He has shoulder length cornrows, facial hair, tear drop tattoo under eye, armed with silver handgun. The second suspect was Black wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt, officials said.
