2 Md. men arrested for robbery and assault

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police arrested two men Wednesday in Lexington Park, Maryland, for armed robbery and assault.

Police say 20-year-old Saivon C. Sharpe and Daquan C. Holden, 18, both from Lexington Park, assaulted and robbed a man on January 30. The victim was walking home when he was robbed at gunpoint by Sharpe and Holden police say.

Detectives found the two men at a home in St. Clements Crossing and found evidence from the robbery, according to police.

Both of the men were charged with armed robbery, robbery firearm use while committing a felony-violent crime, first degree assault, second degree assault and for theft less than $1,000.

According to police, both men are in St. Mary's County Detention Center. Both of their bonds are at $300,000.
