Victims identified in fatal Forestville crash

Prince George's County police just identified the two people killed in a crash in Forestville.

FORESTVILLE, MD (WUSA9) - A man and a woman are dead after a two-car crash in Forestville early Sunday, according to Prince George's police.

At approximately 1:15 a.m., officers responded to the crash at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Parkland Drive.

When they arrived, officers found 27-year-old Howard Jackson III and 50-year-old Pandora Bracmort suffering from critical injuries. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the driver in the other car was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

According to police, Jackson was turning from Parkland Drive onto Pennsylvania Avenue when they were hit by a car going eastbound on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police said it appears the car traveling eastbound failed to stop at a red light and hit the car Jackson and Bracmort where in.
