1 dead, officer injured after Fairfax Co. stabbing

ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA9) -- Fairfax County police say one person is dead and three more, including an officer, are injured after a stabbing in the 2900 block of John Marshall Drive.

Police tells us that a suspect in the Fairfax County fatal stabbing was caught in Arlington on Thursday morning after he was spotted by a helicopter.

The suspect was captured near the 6000 block of Wilson Blvd. We're told that the suspect and an officer were injured.

Officials say the victim was a maintenance man at the complex where the stabbing occurred and that he lived there as well.

We're told a female is also in the hospital. The female, suspect and officer all sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Fairfax County police man who was killed has been identified as Alvaro Zepeda, 44, of 2903 John Marshall Drive in Falls Church.
