Restaurant Alert: Subway, Pizza Boli's, Wings to Go

WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA9) -- In today's Restaurant Alert, a customer complaint about roaches lead health inspectors to a restaurant where they don't find any roaches but they do find mice and temporarily close it down.

Inspectors temporarily closed Subway, 3504 12th Street, NE; Wings to Go, 12th Street, NE; Pizza Boli's 6338 Marlboro Pike, District Heights, Md.; and Pizza Boli's, 6065 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, Md.

All passed re-inspection and are back in business.

At the Marlboro Pike location of Pizza Boli's in District Heights, a customer complained of a "…roach…between the tape and wrapper of steak sub."

Inspectors reported " live or dead roaches..." but closed the restaurant reporting "...the presence of rodents observed (droppings), also a "...large mice observed on glue trap."

Also closed, Pizza Boli's on Oxon Hill Road in Oxon Hill.

Inspectors cited "...sandwich prep refrigerator record at 63..." degrees instead of the required 41 degrees or colder and the toilet removed "…due to a sewage back-up."
