WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- In today's Restaurant Alert, tracking an Adams Morgan night club and a Mount Pleasant Street Pupuseria. Both closed with a laundry list of health code violations.
In the past WUSA9's Restaurant Alert has reported on rodent droppings on restaurant plates, inside cabinets and on kitchen floors. However, in a restaurant's deep fat fryer is a first.

Inspectors temporarily closed NY NY Diva, 2406-2408 18th Street, NW DC and Pupuseria San Miguel, 3110 Mount Pleasant Street, NW DC. At the time of broadcast, Pupuseria San Miguel assed re-inspection and is back in business. NY NY Diva was still closed.

The Adams Morgan dance club's June 12th report reveals 18 violations including "rodent droppings throughout the entire kitchen including the deep fat fryer" and "fly strip inside of the food prep area full of flies."
