Want to know how healthy your heart is? Now there's an app for that.

In clinical trials, Cal-Tech researchers demonstrated that the camera on your smartphone can non-invasively measure the expansion and contraction of artery walls to calculate blood flow from the heart. So, instead of a 45-minute scan from an ultrasound machine you can get the same data by simply holding your phone up to your neck for a minute or two.

PSA routine screening guidelines may be changing again. Two important prostate cancer screening trials provide evidence that screenings significantly reduce prostate cancer deaths.
