WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The founder of electric car company Tesla is making some news on Twitter.
Elon Musk tweeted that the company will "probably" repay its Energy Department loan as early as Thursday. That date would be 9 years ahead of schedule, issued under a green cars program.
The car company has been doing very well with its electric Model S luxury sport sedan, which starts at about $70,000.
