BALTIMORE (AP) - Don't be alarmed if you see a bright green liquid flowing through the Inner Harbor and other waterways.

The Department of Public Works is conducting a large-scale dye test on Wednesday. It's part of the department's ongoing effort to observe and improve water quality.

The department will introduce the dye to determine the location of potential leaks. The test will be conducted near Linwood and Lakewood avenues. The dye is not toxic and has no effect on human health or aquatic life.
