Police have been in contact with the mother and father of the child and do not believe this is a custody issue.

Due to the toddler's age, the FBI has gotten involved with the search. Authorities are looking into whether the child wondered out of the house on its own or if this is a kidnapping. Police have gone door to door in the neighborhood and used K9's to aid in search efforts.

The child is described as a black male who was wearing a green shirt with yellow stripes. He is about 15 pounds and has black curly hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on the child’s location is asked to call Investigator P.T. Kud at 404-546-4260 or at pkud@atlantaga.gov.  Those with information can also call 911.
