Health officials are recalling hundreds of thousands of doses of H1N1 flu vaccine after tests indicated they may not be potent enough to protect against the virus.
Calvert County Health Department postpones the H1N1 shots at schools because of a vaccine shortage. The Health department encourages parents to take children to mass community clinics, including one for H1N1 on October 31.
"It's like getting hit by a train," says Maryland H1N1 survivor, Ron Lalich. "You can't do anything. When I finally got out of bed to try to walk, I could have crawled easier."
Demand is high, but production issues are making the swine flu vaccine hard to come by.
