RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - The Science Museum of Virginia has received the largest corporate donation in its history.
Health Diagnostic Laboratory Inc. donated $2.2 million to fund the development of a new exhibit called Improving Grounds. The exhibit will showcase physical and mental self-improvement.
An interactive media piece and accompanying curriculum for schools also will be created.
Museum and HDL officials announced the donation Thursday.
