MT. RANIER (WUSA) -- WSSC crews have shut off water after a 12-inch main burst in the 3200 block of Queens Chapel Rd. at St. Chillum Rd. The break happened at approximately 3:15 a.m.

Officials say there's about an inch of water on the road.

The water is draining rapidly, they say.

The break is expected to impact 7 residential customers and one business.
