WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- One group in Ward 8 is taking a bigger stand against battling drug use, sex and fighting among teens.

The East of the River non-profit is getting some help from a $1 million grant. Dionne Reeder, the program's Community Engagement Director and Simone Baker, a student involved in the program, explained the program to us on Thursday morning and how the success of the initiative will be measured.
