WASHINGTON (AP) - The trial of five men accused of a series of shootings in Washington in 2010 that allegedly began over a bracelet and left five people dead is scheduled to begin.
Opening statements in the trial are set to begin Tuesday.
Prosecutors have said the March 2010 shootings were the result of escalating violence that started after a gold-colored bracelet went missing.
The violence resulted in the deaths of five people, including three teens gunned down in a drive-by shooting on South Capitol Street in southeast Washington.
