WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- An early morning stabbing in Northwest DC has sent a man to a local hospital in critical condition.
DC Police tell 9 NEWS NOW officers responded to the 1400 block of Fairmont Street in the Columbia Heights neighborhood around 3:14 Tuesday morning. There they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Police say the man was conscious and breathing when he was transported to a local hospital, however his injuries are reported to be life-threatening. At last check the victim was still in surgery around 6:00 a.m.
Right now police are still investigating the incident. So far there is no suspect description available.
