WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Melissa Salmanowitz with DC Public Schools says Anacostia High School will be open as scheduled on Tuesday.
Officials completed final repairs and an inspection Monday afternoon on Anacostia High School after a fire broke out on the roof on Friday.

Students were immediately evacuated when the fire broke out.
DC Fire contained the fire, and according to the local firefighter's union, two firefighters were injured. One of the injured firefighters fell through the roof. Both firefighters were treated and released.
School was dismissed and after school activities at the high school were also cancelled.
