Services for three firefighters from Virginia

The 17-year-old member of the McGaheysville VFC in Rockingham County was killed early Friday morning while responding to a fire call from home.

The family will receive friends at Kyger Funeral Home, 115 Nicholson Road, Elkton, Virginia, 22827, on Monday November 10 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Burial service will be at Kyger Funeral Home on November 11 at 11:00 AM.

Final place of resting will be at the Elk Run Cemetery in the Town of Elkton.

Carl Alan Barber

The master firefighter from Virginia Beach died Thursday after an 11-month battle with lung cancer.

Viewing Sunday night from 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM at Holloman-Brown Funeral Home, 1485 Kempsville Rd, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Funeral Service is Monday at 2:00 PM at Community United Methodist Church, 1072 Old Kempsville Rd (across from Kempsriver Shopping Center).

Internment to follow service at Rosewood Cemetery, 631 North Witchduck Rd.

Clark O. Martin Jr.

The former chief of Monroe County, FL, who rose through the ranks in Fairfax County, died of pancreatic cancer on November 1.

A memorial service will be held December 5, at 4:00 PM, at Burke Presbyterian Church, 5690 Oak Leather Drive, Burke, Virginia. A reception will follow the service.
